What to expect with your boiler servicing
1. Visual Inspection of Boiler
Our service engineer will visually inspect the boiler, that will include cleaning and adjusting any components if required. They will also look for any signs of damage & distress that are clearly visible upon initial inspection.
2. Boiler Operation & Control
Following on from the inspection, our engineer will check your controls and internal safety devices to ensure they are functionally performing as they should.

4. Cleaning the Main Boiler Components
As part of the boiler service, our engineer will remove, inspect and clean the main components in you boiler to ensure they are fit for purpose and have no noticeable defects or faults. This will include the main burner, heat exchanger, flue ways, and ignition electrodes.
5. Checks, Checks & More Checks
Our engineer will have to ‘tick-off’ a number of different checks during the boiler service. These include the following (but not exclusive to)
- Flame sense device and whether it operates correctly
- Pilot burner and any cables and probes
- High-limit thermostat
- Boiler operation
- Provision of adequate ventilation
- Flue effectiveness
- Heating controls
- Electrical wiring connections
- Location of the boiler and nearby combustible materials
